Denmark is of course a country made up of lots of islands – and you’ll soon experience this first hand when you go island hopping. The large islands are now all linked by bridges – and we’ve even managed to build a bridge to our neighbouring country, Sweden. But happily there are still countless little and large ferries that chug their way from one harbour to another, with crossings taking from 5 minutes to a couple of hours.
