Best shore fishing
The shores of Køge Bay offer some of the best opportunities in Denmark for trolling and shore fishing for sea trout. The best shore fishing grounds are found just 10 minutes' drive from the Market Square in Køge.
Anglers who bring their own boats can use the boat ramps in Hundige Harbour and Mosede Harbour.
Denmark's largest pikeThe rivers Tryggevælde Å and Køge Å are the places to catch eel, perch, trout and pike. The Danish record for pike is 16.1 kg, a specimen caught in Tryggevælde River.
