The museum's permanent exhibition features living conditions in the Hedebo region from c. 1800. On view are interiors from the early 1800s and 1900s, beautiful white Hedebo textiles and a picture collection.

The special exhibitions depict local history in a national perspective, and displays of fine and applied art are also on view on a regular basis.

The museum has a charming café serving home-made lunch dishes and pastry.
