Old train ride

Take an old train ride

Every summer, the ØSJK railway club operates rides with old train waggons and engines through the countryside in the Køge Bay region. And everybody is welcome to embark. You could try a motor waggon from 1928, a Danish passenger coach from 1924 or take a look at a goods waggon from the same year.

Several routes

The trains run along various short and long routes, all departing from Køge Station.

They will stop at halts and stations en route on the passengers' request. On the ride there is sale of postcards, books, films as well as beer, soda and sweets.

Founded in 1972

It is East Sealand Railway Club that operates its old trains. The railway club was founded in 1972 by a group of enthusiasts in Køge with a wish to preserve older rolling
stock from DSB and the private railways and to promote knowledge of the operation of railways past and present.
Since then the club has developed into a private museum society, and its collection of rolling stock has been extended.
