Køge is noted for its four major exercise cycling races that take place during the summer months. You can cycle on Køge Ås along the 22 km river path (Køge Å stien) to the hills Regnemark Bakker near Borup. Take a walk in the forest and enjoy the sight of beautiful Gammelkjøgegaard Manor from the 17th century, maybe pausing in Clara's Cemetery by the grave of Grundtvig, the famous Danish hymn writer and priest.
