Museums in Køge
The cultural history museums of Greve and Køge relate the region's history in two beautiful old farmhouses. Køge Museum is located in a listed merchant's house from 1619 in the centre of town, and among its exhibits is Denmark's largest silver treasure, which was uncovered in 1987 in Langkildes Gård in Brogade. Køge Museum and Greve Museum both hold unique collections of textiles, and Greve Museum also has a collection of paintings plus interiors dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.
