The cultural history museums of Greve and Køge relate the region's history in two beautiful old buildings. Køge Museum is located in the centre of town in a listed merchant's house from 1619, and among its many exhibits is Denmark's largest silver treasure, which was uncovered in 1987 in Langkildes Gård in Brogade.
Both Køge Museum and Greve Museum hold unique collections of textiles, and Greve Museum also has a collection of paintings and interiors dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Life in the country, in the fields, in the stables and in the farmhouse - that is the story that is told at Lundekrog Agricultural Museum in Ejby. Study or relive our ancestors' life as it used to be on the island of Sealand.
