Ferry Routes to Køge

Køge Harbour is actually one of Denmark's oldest harbours. In the years up to 1288, the harbour was established by royal order at the first place south of Copenhagen that had a natural harbour.

This made Køge Harbour the obvious base for foreign trade with the towns of North Germany.

Today Køge Harbour is an active and dynamic heavily trafficked harbour looking forward to a bright future of further development.

Køge has been a ferry harbour since 2002 and from 2004 also home port for a passenger ferry. It is the shipping company Bornholmerfaergen that operates the route between Køge and Rønne with its Bornholm RoPax ferries, two combined goods and passenger ferries.

For schedules and bookings, please check the homepage of the Bornholmerfaerge.
