Train and bus information for Køge

If you choose the Køge Bay region for your holiday destination, there will be a lot of experiences in store for you just round the corner.

Of course, Copenhagen is the major attraction of the region. It is a matter of only 45 km or 45 minutes by S-train to get from Køge to Copenhagen's Town Hall Square or Tivoli. The S-train runs every 10 minutes until late at night.

But it is not just Copenhagen that is offering exciting attractions. To the west is Roskilde with its Cathedral and Viking Ship Museum, and heading south you will soon be in the BonBon Land amusement park. To get there, take the regional train running between Roskilde and Næstved via Køge.

Should you want to visit Stevns in the south, you can travel on the East Railway (Østbanen), a small local train departing every 30 or 60 minutes depending on the destination.

A holiday accommodation in the Køge Bay region gives you the benefit of being close to almost everything, and when you return from an excursion to the capital, Roskilde or Næstved, it is wonderful to have time for a swim on the beach or a stroll through old Køge while recharging your batteries for the next trip.

By the way, if you take the S-train to Copenhagen, you will avoid city traffic problems, you will be saving money on parking fees, and there is nothing to prevent you from enjoying a beer at lunch.
