Ølsemagle Mill, today a museum mill, was built in 1887.
It is still a distinctive sight in the landscape.
Like other windmills, it has played an important part in the local community.
The mill was in operation until the late 1960s. Restoration works were completed in 1987.
The wings of the mill turn on the national Mill Day, the 3rd Sunday of June, and on Kite Day, the 1st Sunday of September.
