A taste of Køge

"Vitrinen" in Køge is situated next to the square, in one of the city's very old houses. Here you can buy everything from vintage posters, plaids, hangers, Danish skin care, and decorative trinkets. Dating back to 1580, the listed two-storey property has both charm and crooked walls.

Kaffekrukken is a cozy little specialist shop specialised in tea, coffee and everything related. The shop has a lovely location in the middle of the square, in the heart of our old market town.

In the heart of the city center is Åstrædes Ostehus. The beautiful old half-timbered house, which used to sell buttons and herds in the past, today houses one of the most charming specialty shops in Køge.

Here you will find more than 175 different Danish and foreign cheeses. In addition, we have products from Slagter Munch in Skagen - sausages and pates. We also have other delicacies such as air-dried ham and Italian and Spanish sausages.

We are happy to help you find the right cheese and of course you can taste the product before you buy it.

Shop and Micro Eatery Den Lille Gourmande on Nørregade, is located on a small sunny spot in the yard just after Køge Museum. The shop sells cider, charcuterie, wine, delicacies, preserves, gift baskets and seasonal baskets, which you can enjoy at home, or give as a gift. In the Mikro Eatery you can enjoy tapas, coffee or a cold glass of wine in the sun for lunch. The atmosphere is intimate and the wines and goods are carefully selected.
