Nyhavn, København

Tour suggestions

If you are staying in the Køge Bay region with your family, there will be a lot of experiences in store for you just round the corner

Of course, Copenhagen is the major at traction of the region. It is a matter of only 45 km or 45 minutes by S-train to get from Køge to Copenhagen's Town Hall Square or Tivoli. But it is not just Copenhagen that is offering exciting attractions. To the west is Roskilde with its Cathedral, Viking Ship Museum and Sagnlandet Lejre, Land of Legends, and heading south you will soon be in the BonBon Land amusement park at Næstved, at Stevns Fort and Stevns Cliffs.

A holiday accommodation in the Køge Bay region gives you the benefit of being close to almost everything, and when you return from an excursion to the capital, Roskilde or Næstved, it is wonderful to have time for a swim on the beach or a stroll through old Køge while recharging your batteries for the next trip.

By the way, if you take the S-train to Copenhagen, you will avoid city traffic problems, you will be saving money on parking fees, and there is nothing to prevent you from enjoying a beer at lunch.
