Parking in Køge

Our town has many rules for parking, and here we will try to simplify it for you. There are loads of other options than presented below, but it is best for you to just follow these suggestions, and stick to them.

Do not park in the square! The parking spots around the square in the centre are free for 1 hour, however we suggest you do not park here. We have had several issues this summer with guests getting parking tickets, even though they follow the rules, because they did not have the Danish parking disc. Therefore, we suggest you park in either of the following lots:

Best parking lots in the centre of town

We suggest you pay for parking in parking lots close to the centre, if you want the easiest parking in Køge. We always send tourists to these 3 lots. Type in this exact address, and make sure to buy a parking ticket in the machine with a credit card, or with one of the apps, for 10 kr/hour:

• Pedersvej 6 (Google Maps)
• Blegdammen 3 (Google Maps) 
• Skt Gertrudsstræde 9 (Google Maps) 

If you do not have a credit card with you, or want free parking, we suggest the following:

• Junckers free parking 10 min walk from the square (Google Maps)
